New Years Message From Chairman Ray Kramer
Happy New Year to all you wonderful Republicans of Powhatan, Virginia and your families.
I want to take this occasion to thank each of you for all your help with our campaigns and issues during the past year. Some things went our way and some didn’t.
The past year was an up and down one for Kitty and myself as you know; but your prayers and support have helped us through every day. I thank you for that kindness as well. Kitty is back in the hospital again this week, after suffering a relapse of sorts, and we hope she will be home by week’s end.
2008 will be a big year for the USA. I think we are at a crossroads between Good and evil. We seem to be losing our country and our freedoms bit by bit. It now becomes our larger Duty to stand up and work for what is right for America. It is past time to take this country back before we have to do it at the end of a barrel. We had to do that once for this country in 1776, and I for one don’t want it to happen again. This may be our last chance to leave our current form of Republican self-governing to our children. We don’t want them to say to us, “Why didn’t you do something when you had the chance?”
No, we don’t have perfect people running for office - we never will - we have to pick the best we can and then support them to the fullest.
May God bless you all and may He have Mercy on the USA.
Thanks for all you do, and all you will do for the good of your country.
